- 1 c wheat starch
- 5-6 T water
- 2 T coffee creamer (powder)
- 1/2 t egg yolk
- 1 T methylcellulose***
Note: To add color and flavor, boil water with a pinch of saffron. Cool water and add to dry ingredients.

** Psyllium fiber is available at health food stores, and is used in place of Metamucil. It improves the texture and flavor of the bread, making it more like regular bread. Be sure to use the amount listed in the ingredients. The whole psyllium fiber works better than the ground fiber.
*** Methylcelulose is added as a stabilizer and makes the wheat starch work better. It is available from Ener-G Foods, Inc.
